Alisha Lehmann makes a surprising revelation about her routine – “No one would believe it”

The Swiss player was able to represent his country in the home games.

The Finnish women’s national team will face the world’s most followed footballer, Alisha Lehmann, 26, at the European Championship.

The Swiss star, who will face the team in the final group stage match, has a whopping 16.7 million followers on Instagram.

For Lehmann, social media is a source of income, but he assures that it has not become an addiction that fills his everyday life.

– No one would believe that my screen time is the least in our team. In the national team I am on my phone a little more than usual because we have a lot of free time. In Turin or with my family in Bern I almost never need my phone, sometimes I don’t even know where it is, Lehmann says in an interview with Blick.

– I’m 26, so I can’t be stuck on my phone all day. I want to see life and experience things with friends and family.

The Blick journalist challenged Lehmann that by following his social media, one could get a different impression.

– I quickly take a picture and post it. It takes two seconds, like everyone else. I don’t know why everyone always thinks my life is so stressful, the player who represents Juventus at club level wonders.

Mother scowled

Lehmann says she prefers not to read the comments section of her posts, but in May, that’s what happened when her mother took to Instagram to scold commenters who criticized her daughter.

The mother’s message was that a player’s makeup has nothing to do with their football skills. Lehmann says he only noticed the remark when a colleague reported it to him.

– She said she had had enough. Personally, I don’t care if people write negative things about me, but it makes my mother sad because she only wants the best for me. It’s nice that she supports me like that.

New Role

Lehmann is not one of Switzerland’s stars at the European Championship, and he is not expected to be part of the starting lineup.

The player, who suffered from injuries in the spring season, was excited about getting to the home games until the very end.

– It was definitely not an easy situation for me. One moment you’re in and the next you’re out. Ultimately, as a player, you want to know what the coaches think of you so you can earn their trust.

The midfielder has been given responsibility on the wing in the national team.

– I have found a slightly new role for myself. I am happy about this challenge, Lehmann enthuses.
