The cause of Diogo Jota’s crash has been revealed
Preliminary information was revealed from the accident investigation.
New information has emerged about Diogo Jota’s fatal crash, Sky Sports reports.
The Spanish National Guard announced on Tuesday that Jota’s crash was likely caused by significant speeding. The speed limit on the motorway was 120 kilometres per hour.
The accident occurred during an overtaking situation when the Lamborghini skidded off the road.
Evidence suggests that Jota was driving the car. He was carrying his younger brother, Andre Silva, who also died.
The authorities have examined, among other things, the tire marks left by the accident. The expert report to be prepared for the Puebla de Sanabria court is still pending.
Jota and Silva were buried on Saturday in Portugal.
