A row of vans burned down on Hakamäenkuja

Several vans were destroyed, and the fire spread to an adjacent industrial building.

An estimated six vans parked against the wall of an industrial building caught fire on Hakamäenkuja in Vantaa on the night before Monday.

The fire may have started in an all-electric van, as it was the worst burned, the rescue service estimated to an Ilta-Sanomat photographer at the scene.

The fire spread from the car park to the adjacent industrial building, whose roof structures had to be opened during extinguishing work. Smoke was spreading inside the building through the windows.

The fire caused no injuries, the Central Uusimaa Rescue Department reported.
