The accident occurred near Vihdintie in Vantaa. The rescue service received an alert about the accident shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Kehä III was closed eastbound for several hours, but after 2 p.m. authorities reported that one lane had been reopened eastbound. By 9 p.m., all lanes were open. Both lanes were open westbound.
Police were on scene directing traffic. One person was involved in the accident, but was not injured.
Rocks were still being cleared from the road after the rescue operations had ended. By 9 p.m., the clearing work was complete.
