Airlines started charging passengers for security checks

Finnair sells “smoothness” in security checks, but does not guarantee it. According to the airport company Finavia, all passengers must be treated equally during the checks.

The airline Finnair has started selling an additional service that includes access to the so-called priority security check at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

In practice, priority security means that you pass through security via a separate lane.
