Finland’s European Championship match made headlines around the world – “Shameful”

Norway’s performance was a huge disappointment for football experts.

Helmarien’s European Championship opponent on Sunday, Norway, was knocked out worldwide.

Norway beat Finland 2–1, but former Scotland international Rachel Corsie described the team’s performance as “disgraceful” on the BBC.

– This is the European Championship. A lot of the time the players were just walking on the field. It’s unbelievable, Corsie said.

– I’ve played against Norway many times and they usually dominate, he added.

The Swedish public broadcaster SVT wondered about the same thing.

– How bad can Norway be and still win? Expert Hanna Marklund commented.

– A really weak effort. They don’t play as a team, he said.

SVT expert Lotta Schelin believes that Finland was completely superior in the attacking end. Schelin also praised Helmarie’s attitude.

Finland has three points after two matches in the European Championship. Helmarit will play for a place in the next round against Switzerland on Thursday.
