Jonathan Toews: The Return
The Canadian hockey star is returning to the NHL rink after a two-year hiatus.
Pierre LeBrun, a hockey reporter for Canadian media TSN, reported on the X-message service that Jonathan Toews is returning to the NHL.
According to LeBrun, Canada’s experienced 37-year-old center forward has signed a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Jets.
Winnipeg is Toews’ hometown.
Toews has been suffering from coronavirus and chronic inflammatory bowel disease (CIRS) for the past few years. It is a condition in which the body’s immune system overreacts to toxic substances in the environment.
Now the experienced player is trying to make a comeback.
