The Swiss newspaper Blick reported that Jesse Puljujärvi is moving to Switzerland.

According to the newspaper, Puljujärvi has signed a contract with the Swiss club HC Lugano for next season.

Puljujärvi is currently with the Charlotte Checkers in the AHL finals.

The Checkers defeated the Abbotsford Canucks 4–3 in Game 5 of the AHL Finals. Abbotsford now leads the finals series 3–2. Four wins are needed to win the championship.

The final series continues in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Tuesday night at 2:00 a.m. Finnish time.
